These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Doodlescape: Arrow Puzzle mobile application ("the App", "we", "us", "our"), published by Box of Otters. By downloading, installing, or playing the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

The App

Doodlescape is a free-to-play arrow puzzle game. You can play without an account and without an internet connection. We may add, change, or remove features, levels, and seasonal content at any time, and we may update or discontinue the App.

License

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your own non-commercial entertainment, subject to these Terms and to the terms of the App Store or Google Play, whichever you downloaded from. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from the App except as the law allows.

Advertising

The App shows banner, between-level, and optional rewarded video ads, served through Unity LevelPlay and its partner networks. Ads come from third parties, and we do not control or endorse them. Your dealings with any advertiser are between you and that advertiser.

Coins, Skins, and Other Virtual Items

The App includes coins, skins, hints, and similar items ("Virtual Items"). You can earn them by playing, by watching optional reward videos, or by buying coin packs. Some skins are only available during a limited seasonal window, and once unlocked they stay unlocked. Virtual Items have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for real money or goods, and cannot be transferred outside the App. They are licensed to you, not sold, and are stored only on your device, so deleting the App or changing devices may reset them. We may adjust prices and availability of Virtual Items in the App.

In-App Purchases

The App sells coin packs, which are consumed when used, a one-time "Remove Ads" purchase, which turns off banner and between-level ads while leaving optional reward videos available, and a one-time "No Ads + Coins" bundle, which includes the same ad removal plus a one-time grant of coins. Purchases are processed by Apple or Google under their terms and charged to your Apple or Google account. "Remove Ads" can be restored on devices signed in to the same account. Coin packs cannot be restored. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies; we cannot issue refunds directly.

Your Conduct

You agree not to use cheats, exploits, automation, modified versions of the App, or any other method to interfere with the App or its ads, and not to use the App for any unlawful purpose.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not promise that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Box of Otters is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, progress, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or five U.S. dollars (US$5.00).

Children

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. Changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. If you keep playing after a change takes effect, the revised Terms apply.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Box of Otters operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts located there, unless applicable law requires otherwise. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under the consumer protection laws of the country where you live.
